Business Architecture Optimization.

Business Architecture can be defined as the structure of processes that are necessary to guarantee a smooth operation. In many companies however some of the cross functional interfaces of processes are misaligned or not formulated, resulting in unclear operations and delays with the ultimate outcome increased cost and unhappy end customers. This was also the case for our client where process interfaces between supply chain and after service were not clearly defined. Both departments created their individual answer and operations resulting in misalignment, increased costs and unhappy customers (delays). We started to map all processes and rolled out a business architecture that clearly identified the RACI, the SOP’s belonging to the related processes resulting in eliminating the cause of the problems. The client rolled out the Architecture Optimization over the entire business resulting in overall efficiency increase.
